As an aside...

You Scored as Form III: Soresu

Form III, the ”Way of the Mynock," was inspired by the need to deflect Blaster bolts. It is very defensive; it has no aggressive qualities. Form III utilises motions occurring very close to the body to achieve a nearly total protection, efficiently expending as little energy as possible to execute those moves. This technique exposes as little body target zone open areas as is possible, making a well-trained practitioner nearly invincible. Testimony to this is the fact that Ben Kenobi, a Form III master, only falls when he chooses to let Darth Vader kill him.

Bloggin' from a DS...

...in the United Tunnel Networks of Spaigania. That's the United Tunnels for short. The Tunnels are an anthropological experiment into genetic remnants of times gone by, when our distant ancestors sought refuge in caves. I have often noticed a feeling of serene tranquility among young humans who have created a nest-cave-like environment. I believe this to be a remnant from our cave-hiding ancestors in the form of a sort of "genetic memory". I have attempted to access these memories by creating my own nest-cave out of cushions and blankets from my surroundings. The experiment was largely a success with respect to anecdotal evidence, but I feel it ultimately reveals little in the way of a causal link between anything but couch forts and awesome levels of nostalgic fun.

Holy Crap.

It's been quite a while since I updated my bloggy here. Well, let's see. What's happened since last post...? Hell, what hasn't. Well, pretty much everything after February 18 has, so we'll start there. I gradutated from high school (as dear old Magister Vitrano would say). The ceremony was rather impressive, almost too much so. The rehearsal was long and boring, and would have been even more so, if it had not been for the fact that most of the attendees left shortly afterwards (probably due to the dullness). Then followed a rather uneventful summer (for me anyways). Doing this and that, odd jobs, and just generally hangin' out. I enrolled at MSOE, a local engineering school, and had my first day of classes today. That's an exceedingly succinct summary of the past seven months, and I need food. Therefore, I shall go forth- to the Cafeteria! *dramatic music*

ARE YOU READY TO STUMBLE?!?!

Sooo... Yeah.

It's been a while since I have updated this blog. As you as-yet-unidentified readers may have noticed, I have updated my profile, with a picture of me (in all my glory), and a poetic answer to a random question. I have been active in the StumbleUpon community, which for those not "in the know" is a site/toolbar combo that allows you to essentially "channelsurf" the web. You click the "Stumble!" button, and it takes you to a (supposedly) random website within the parameters that you set. Once there, you can either click the "I like it!" button, or the "No more like this" button. You also have the option of reviewing sites on the StumbleUpon site, which many people do. I have recently had an idea for a "fun" page which I will try to cobble together at some point. At that time, I will link to it. In the meantime, have a link.

Ciao,

Well then.

According to personaldna.com, I am a "generous leader". Whaddayaknow? I never thought that I was either. And stupid Blogger won't let me put in my "DNA Stripe". Something about the HTML tag not being allowed.

Do de do de do de do....

Yawn. Boring. I have updated the web address of this blog to something shorter and more appropriate, at least in my opinion. Things have been rather quiet here at Spaig Central. I've been doing a bit of gaming here and there, listing items for sale on eBay, and finishing up high school. Incidentally, if anyone reading this wants a dirt cheap computer, check out my eBay auctions. My eBay ID is (unsurprisingly) del_spaig. Simply do a member search, and click on "Items Currently for Sale" or something like that. I have been raising funds in hopes of buying a Nintendo Wii when it comes out. It looks pretty cool. The code name for it during development was "Revolution", and I believe that is what it will be. However, I am not sure this will be a good thing. Take the following quote from Nintendo's Wii Site-

Satoru Iwata

“Let’s say your Wii is connected to the Internet in a mode that allows activation on a 24-hour basis. This would allow Nintendo to send monthly promotional demos for the DS, during the night, to the Wii consoles in each household. Users would wake up each morning, find the LED lamp on their Wii flashing, and know that Nintendo has sent them something. They would then be able to download the promotional demo from their Wii’s to their Nintendo DS’s.”

This quote, from the CEO of Nintendo, is referring to the WiiConnect24 service. This is a service that downloads updates, demos, etcetera from Nintendo to each Wii during the wee hours (pun intended) of the night. While this probably is as innocuous as this sounds, let's dig deeper, and deliberately overthink this. Nintendo Co. has a direct link to a small A/V device in many homes around the world, and sends messages to you while you sleep. Put that way, it sounds rather ominous, doesn't it? It reminds me of a novel by one Erich Arthur Blair, a.k.a. George Orwell, entitled "1984". I suggest you draw your own conclusions, and not blindly follow what is written here. I believe that the Wii will be a great success, without being Big Brother.

Well... that flopped...

No comments yet, with the exception of a spam comment. Is that the correct term? Spam comment? Meh. Who cares? Anyway, to cut down on those, I enabled word verification. To all those non-spammers out there who wish to comment, I apologise. However, it is only a small hassle, and probably will only deter bots.

In other news, this blog may soon host previews of my good friend Drake Zure's ongoing saga, entitled "The Encalle Invasion of Onodor". This is an excellent (in my opinion) sci-fi story, with a good bit of humor. I'll keep you posted.

PS- the operative word in the last paragraph is "may".

Spaigtest

This is my first Spaiglog entry. It is a bit dated, but there is crap on here that is older. Enjoy!

Spaiglog 122105

Garg... I can't use the computer at home today. Not quite sure what brought that on. I seem to remember hearing something about our computer use yesterday morning, but that doesn't make sense, as we got off before the allotted time ran out, and we also weren't late for school. Therefore, I believe that this may be one of those irrational decisions,or at least a misinformed one. I actually hope that this is the case, as she can often be persuaded to reverse the decision.
Sorry about the block quote format, I could not figure out any other way to paste text from outside.

Wow...

There's a whole lot of crap on here... I will have to start posting meaningful stuff, and soon.
Perhaps some of my back Spaiglogs. Those are journal entries.
